Deb Carlino is the first CCPO for Sema4 and is responsible for the achievement of the on-going objectives of the department with attention to audit (internal and external) functions, policy development, enhancing business processes, measuring performance and supporting Senior Management in a myriad of compliance and ethics management activities/tasks, as they relate to the seven elements of an effective compliance program.
Prior to joining Sema4 in July of 2018, Deb Carlino was Director of Healthcare Compliance and Audit for Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Deb spent most of the previous 25 years in various positions of increasing responsibility in hospital, pharmaceutical and industrial settings. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Carlow College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Master’s in Business Administration in December of 2009. She holds a certification as a Healthcare Compliance professional (CHC), Healthcare Research Compliance professional (CHRC) and serves as a Board Member for the New Jersey Chapter of the Healthcare Finance Management Association.
